These terms apply when you use templateit.net and download our templates. By using the site, you agree to them. Paid setup and customization work is also covered by the written quote for that project; where the quote and these terms differ, the quote applies.
Who we are
TemplateIt publishes free templates and step-by-step guides for business software, and offers paid setup and customization. We operate from India.
Using the free templates
- You can use the templates in your own business and in work you do for your clients.
- You can change them as much as you like.
- You may not sell or give away the templates, guides, screenshots or videos as they are, or publish them as your own template pack. Link to the template page instead.
- The guide text, screenshots and videos stay ours. Short quotes with a link back are fine.
Not affiliated with the platforms
TemplateIt is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, Odoo, Notion, n8n, Microsoft or Google. Product names and logos belong to their owners and are shown only to say which software a template works with. You need your own account and licence for each platform, on that platform’s terms.
Your responsibility
A template changes how your software is set up. Try it in a trial or sandbox account first, keep a backup, and check the result before you use it with live data. You are responsible for your accounts, your data, your platform licences, and for following the laws that apply to your business, such as data protection rules.
No warranty
We build and test every template in a real account, but platforms change their features, editions and screens often. The free templates, guides and videos are provided as they are, without any promise that they suit your needs, work with your edition or are free of errors.
Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, lost profits or business interruption that comes from using the free templates or the site. For paid work, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for that work. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Using the site fairly
Please do not try to break, overload or get around the security of the site, collect its content in bulk, send spam or false details through the forms, or upload anything harmful.
Links to other sites
Guides link to platform documentation and other sites. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date below shows the latest version, and it applies from that date.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute. If something goes wrong, please contact us first; most problems are easier to fix by talking.
